Dale asks "Can you provide me with the Outer Diameter, in thousands (as near as possible) of JefaTech's Low Loss 400-Flex center conductor? The spec sheet says (0.036). I believe that is probably the diameter of each of the 7 strands."
Answer: The center conductor overall diameter for the 400 FLEX averages to about 0.114". Since there are 7 strands, it varies based on if you let the strands expand out or keep them nice and tight.
It fits standard connectors for RG8 / 400 size cable such as standard PL-259's, N Male, etc but it can be a tight fit if you let the strands unravel too much. If you find that during assembly that it won't fit, you should try again with a clean cut and take care to not let the strands come apart while you are prepping the cable.
I'm attaching a picture I just took of the measurement.
